Celtic have rejected a £4million offer from Hull City for Gary Hooper.
The Tigers reportedly lodged the bid, which included £1m in add-ons, on Wednesday night but the Scottish champions turned down the proposal from the newly-promoted Premier League club.
Hooper has already attracted interest from Norwich City - who have had a number of bids rejected - Southampton, Stoke City and Fulham but Hull are the first to make an official approach this summer.
It is believed that Tigers boss Steve Bruce will return with another offer for the prolific 25-year old.
