Celtic are chasing QPR striker Jay Bothroyd.

The Guardian says Celtic are set to renew their interest in Bothroyd by offering the forward the chance to move to Glasgow on loan from Queens Park Rangers.

The Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, had hoped to coax Bothroyd north from Cardiff City at the end of last season. Instead, the 29-year-old signed a two-year deal, thought to be worth close to £30,000 a week, at Loftus Road.
