Brendan Rodgers is determined to reunite with Scott Sinclair at Celtic.
The Telegraph is reporting that the Bhoys boss will make a third offer for the Aston Villa winger later this week.
Sinclair and Rodgers previously struck up a successful relationship at Swansea City and it is understood that the Northern Irishman very much wants the English attacker at his disposal in Glasgow.
New Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo is looking to trim his squad ahead of the 2016/17 Championship season, in the wake of their relegation from the Premier League, and could be swayed to part with Sinclair if a suitable deal can be agreed upon.
A verbal offer of £1million has been met with reluctance by the West Midlands outfit and it is now believed that Celtic could offer as much as £3m for the 27-year-old former Chelsea and Manchester City man.
