Celtic are set to face huge pressure over the future of midfielder Stuart Armstrong in the coming days, according to the Daily Express.

The report claims that Southampton are currently leading the pursuit of the 25-year-old, and are set to make a £3m bid for him.

Armstrong has only one year left on his current deal, and he has not shown any indications yet that he wants to extend his stay. The Hoops are said to be desperate to keep hold of the player, but both parties still remain well apart in their negotiations over a new contract.

West Brom and Everton are also said to be keeping tabs on the Scotland international.
