Celtic boss Neil Lennon is keen on Southampton striker Billy Sharp.
The Daily Star says Southampton raided the Hoops for Victor Wanyama in a club record move worth up to £12.5m and Lennon is hoping negotiations between the two clubs can bear fruit once more.
The Saints are looking to recoup at least half of the £2m outlaid on Sharp from Doncaster 18-months-ago.
