Ilan is desperate to stay in the UK after his release from West Ham United.

The Mirror says Bolton and Celtic are battling it out to sign Brazilian forward Ilan.

The marksman has been freed by West Ham, despite scoring four goals to help keep the Hammers up.

But the 29-year-old is hoping to stay in British football and is available on a free transfer.

Ilan, who has three international caps, arrived at Upton Park in January from St Etienne.
