Rosenborg midfielder Markus Henriksen has opted to make the move to Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
The 20-year old Norway international has been a firm target for Scottish champions Celtic but has decided to start afresh in Holland with his transfer expected to be completed today.
"It was not an easy decision to move," Henriksen told Adresseavisen.
"I am a homebody and, additionally, I have strong connections with Rosenborg.
"At the same time, I feel it is the right club for me and I have the chance to progress in my football career."
