Celtic striker Gary Hooper is delighted former England captain Terry Butcher has recommended him to Fabio Capello.
Hooper has urged manager Capello to keep an eye on him while he's banging in the goals for Celtic.
He told the Scottish Sun: "I heard about what Terry said last week.
"That was nice of him but it's not up to me.
"I've just got to keep scoring goals and playing well for Celtic, that's the important thing.
"Do I think it's possible to get into the England set-up while I'm playing for Celtic?
"Yeah I do. If you play well and score goals it's going to get back to England - but it's up to Fabio Capello. I'm not that worried about anything, I don't really think about it. The main thing for me is playing for Celtic, winning and scoring goals.
"We have big games coming up in Europe so maybe that would help get me noticed.
