Celtic's latest signing Nadir Ciftci will have to wait until September to make his Scottish Premiership debut for the Hoops.
The former Dundee United striker was given an eight-match ban with two suspended until the end of the season for biting into Dundee rival Jim McAlister's leg during the derby in May.
The 23-year-old Turk joined Celtic in a £1.5million transfer earlier this month and will now miss their next six league games.
Ciftci will have to wait until the visit to Aberdeen on September 12 to make his domestic debut for the Glasgow giants who have won the past four Scottish titles.
