Celtic still trying to snap up Newcastle's Forster permanently

Celtic are still looking to sign Fraser Forster from Newcastle United on a permanent deal.

Magpies boss Alan Pardew has revealed that the 24-year old goalkeeper will report to pre-season training on Monday but Hoops manager Neil Lennon is determined to land his man.

Forster has spent the past two seasons on loan at Parkhead and the Scottish champions are prepared to pay a transfer fee of £2million to snap up his services permanently.
