Celtic skipper Stephen McManus accepts he could be dropped after a disappointing start to the season.
"You'd be off your rocker to think that the captain can't be dropped," said McManus. "We've certainly not got any world-class players who you could say should be playing every week. Everyone is fighting for their jerseys and that's the way it should be. It's healthy. Once you play at a certain place for a certain time people are going to pipe up.
"When you come through the system and play 10 games everyone thinks you are the best thing since sliced bread. Then if you are here for a year or two you will get criticism. That's just the way it is."
