Celtic skipper Brown seeks specialist advice on hip problem

Celtic captain Scott Brown is looking to find a quick cure for his ongoing hip injury.

The 27-year old midfielder has been plagued by the problem in the early stages of this season and is now seeking specialist advice so he can get back to action as soon as possible.

Brown's degenerative problem has been assessed by top medicos in London and now the Hoops skipper is awaiting the call on whether he requires surgery or not.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon suggested on Tuesday, after Brown limped out of the Champions League loss at Benfica, that the Scotland international could be sidelined for up to 10 weeks.
