Scott Brown insists the Scotland team will be looking to force Croatia onto the back foot on Tuesday night.
The Scots host the Croatians in their final World Cup qualifier in Glasgow and skipper Brown feels that things are heading in the right direction as they get set for a massive test.
The Celtic captain also suggested that Croatia, currently sitting second in Group A, will get no favours at Hampden Park.
"It's going to be a hard game, it's going to be interesting," Brown told Sky Sports News. "We're looking forward to it. We have had some good results recently and we want to continue it.
"The week's training has been intense and we are enjoying it and we have got our shape sorted for the game. They have still got a lot to prove. They will come here trying to get the win."
He added: "It's going to hard game for us because they have some great players but it's going to be a hard game for them too. We have to keep them on the back foot and that's what we aim to do."
