Hoops boss Neil Lennon recently revealed that the skipper had been having jabs to get him through matches but after scoring the opener in the 3-1 win at Kilmarnock on the weekend, Brown denied those claims or any suggestions he would soon be undergoing surgery.
“I’ve not had an injection in a long time,” he said.
“We’ve had enough talk about this surgery, it is boring me now so I think we’ll get on to other things.
“We have a big game on Wednesday against Arbroath (in the Scottish Cup). That’s the main thing.”
