CD Badajoz manager Adolfo Munoz says Celtic’s imminent addition of Amido Balde is a good piece of business by the Scottish champions.
The Hoops are set to complete the signing of the 22-year old striker from Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes and his former boss, whilst on loan in Spain, is confident he will make a big impression in Glasgow.
“Amido is going to be the talk of the town as soon he starts playing for Celtic.
“There isn’t a defender in the world who can stop this boy – unless you’re a sumo wrestler.
“It is very difficult for a defender to handle him in a one-to-one situation.
“The defenders will not be able to match up against him when he’s running towards goal.
“He is a beast. His physique is incredible.
“I’m not exaggerating. Trying to push him away, jump higher or anticipate him is very difficult for a defender. He has the physique and energy of Drogba. You have to play dirty to stop him, so Celtic will get a lot of fouls in their favour near the penalty area.”
