Celtic won their first game of their Australian pre-season tour with a 2-0 win over Perth Glory in Perth on Saturday. A goal in each half from Gary Hooper and defender Charlie Mulgrew sealed the win for the Scottish giants, who lost 1-0 to the Central Coast Mariners in their opening tour match in Sydney last weekend.
"I thought we played well," said Hoops boss Neil Lennon.
"I felt with the week's preparation the players would be better for it and that proved to be the case.
"Hooper scored a good goal for us and we got an early goal in the second half and we were pretty much in control from then on."
