Celtic failed to build on a first minute goal from Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Hearts. Bruno Aguiar's free kick drew Hearts level just after the half hour as the home side dominated for long periods.
Jambos boss Csaba Laszlo said. "For about 70 minutes we played very good football, we had a lot of chances," he told Setanta Sports.
"Okay, in the last five or six minutes Celtic came out and we lost a little bit of confidence."
Laszlo was delighted with his side's reaction to going behind.
"We definitely have a big heart," he said. "You cannot give such a big advantage for Celtic and we also did it against Rangers.
"But afterwards we came back and it was important to come back and play the football that we've played all season."
Celtic boss Gordon Strachan said: "I'm happy with a lot of what went on today. "The determination levels from both sides were the same - they were fantastic.
"But when you look at the actual chances we had to win the game, they were far greater.
"I asked Artur (Boruc) if he actually made a save and I don't think he saved the ball at all.
"But they're powerful at set plays - you have to deal with that. Our team was picked accordingly.
"We dealt with a lot of that no problem and then when the game died a bit, which we had expected, we created a lot of chances.
"The two managers will be maybe pleased with the performances and maybe both of them not happy with the outcome."
Strachan said of his side's early goal: "Sometimes that can go against you."
