Celtic's Towell open to Hibernian loan return

Celtic young gun Richie Towell says he wouldn't be averse to the idea of returning to Hibernian for a second loan spell next season.

The 19-year old landed at Easter Road in January and has been impressive in 12 league appearances for Colin Calderwood's side.

Now he says he would be open to an Edinburgh return next season as he continues to further development.

"I've loved it here and I don't think I could have dreamed of a better club to come to," Towell told the Daily Record.

"It is such a high standard to be playing at and to have featured regularly in a team that has been doing well has been fantastic for me.

"I will go back to Celtic in the summer and have a chat with Neil Lennon and the staff and see what they feel is best for me.

"It would be good if I could come back here - on loan or permanently - but I just want to play football."
