Anthony Stokes says he will not let a recent incident at his home in Edinburgh drive him away from Celtic.
The striker's house was smashed up when his pregnant girlfriend was home alone whilst he was playing in Inverness on November 19 which added to an earlier incident when his residence was also targeted by drunken thugs after a match against Rangers last year but he insists that it will not force him to even consider leaving Parkhead.
"Even before I came here I'd heard plenty of stories about things like that happening. But it doesn't bother me. Coming into training and playing games is good for me when things like that are going on," he said.
"It gets your mind away from it. I'm not someone who would take something like that too personally.
"Being Irish probably doesn't help either. It's just the way it is up here.
"Any club you go to, you are going to get a bit of hassle. But all eyes are on you if you are playing for the Old Firm and living in Glasgow or Edinburgh."
