Spartak Moscow have targeted Celtic's Aiden McGeady for a move to the Russian capital. The wealthy Russians are prepared to double the Celtic winger's £16,000-a-week wages after accepting defeat in their bid to sign Albert Riera from Liverpool, reports the Daily Mail.
And sources close to the Moscow club claim they are prepared to pay up to £9million to challenge Birmingham for the signature of the Republic of Ireland international.
The 24 year old has a stated desire to test himself in the Premiership.
