Celtic striker Scott McDonald says the players will be looking to redeem themselves after Wednesday night's Scottish Cup failure. The Hoops went down 1-0 to Hearts in front of home fans in the quarter-finals of the Scottish CIS Insurance Cup, ending their run in the competition.

But Celtic will now focus their attention back to the league when they host Kilmarnock in week 10 of the season on Saturday night (Sunday morning Australian time) and McDonald said a win is paramount in keeping their lead over Rangers at the top of the table.

"Wednesday was a slight aberration on our part but we just have to put that behind us now," McDonald told tribalfootball.com.

"Next we focus on Kilmarnock and the chance to go further ahead on top of the table."

Celtic versus Kilmarnock is LIVE on Setanta Sports this Sunday morning at 1:55am - tune in to see Aussie boys McDonald and Killie's Danny Invincibile lock horns in the Scottish Premier League.

As always, Setanta Sports will be showing plenty of other football action this weekend for your viewing pleasure.
