Celtic winger Adam Matthews suggests he will turn down the Great Britain Olympic team if he happens to be selected.
The Welshman is being tipped for Stuart Pearce's GB squad for this summer's London Games but Matthews has indicated that he'd rather help the Hoops qualify for the UEFA Champions League with the two sets of games coinciding in July and August.
"I think my first goal would be with Celtic. If that was the case I would probably choose Celtic.
"Every footballer, even if you're not at Celtic, wants to play at the highest level.
"Watching the Champions League games, it's the place you want to be.
"If we finish top and win the league, hopefully we can get through to the group stages.""I haven't heard anything about the Olympic team so we'll see what happens when that comes around," Matthews said.
