Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic insists his latest injury setback will not force him into premature retirement.
The 34-year old centre-back sustained cruciate ligament damage in his knee at Sweden training earlier this week which will see him miss the remainder of the season as well as this summer's European Championships.
But Majstorovic, who is set for surgery today, says he will return to the pitch when he recovers and is in no mindset to quit despite it being the second serious injury this season following a badly fractured cheekbone a few months back.
"I fully understand how serious this is and the work I need to put in to get back. I will try to set small targets now but I am a warrior and I will gave it my all to get back.""I'll do all I can to get back as quickly as possible. I still feel I have a lot to offer on the football pitch and I won't give up on my career just for this," he said.
