Celtic's Majstorovic focused on rehab

Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic insists he is not focusing on his future at the club but rather his rehab from a knee injury.

The Swedish centre-back damaged his cruciate ligament whilst training with his national team in February and although he is out of contract this summer, is determined to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible.

"It is getting a lot better, the medical staff are very happy and I'm happy," said Majstorovic.

"If everything goes well and I progress as I am now, I think I might start to run in eight to 10 weeks.

"My contract runs out in June so there will be a time when we need to talk about it. There will be a point where we see what's going to happen.

"But the main thing for me now is (rehabilitation). I am so focused on my rehab, that is my priority.

"I am not worried. I know my fitness and I know there is so much more that I want achieve.

"I am still so motivated and hungry so the priority is to have a good rehab now. I will take it step by step now."
