Jackson Irvine says he is doing everything he can to stay in the mind of the Australian national team manager.
The 21-year old is playing regularly for Kilmarnock on his loan from Celtic and is eyeing a spot in Ange Postecoglou's final squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
"I'm doing my best for my club and to try to stay in Ange's thoughts," he told the Daily Record.
"Whether for the World Cup or other tournaments all you can do is focus on your performances and hope you can play a part going forward.
"My debut against Canada (in October last year) showed the national set-up is looking to the future which is good."
