Celtic's Ki rubbishes QPR speculation

Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has denied claims that he is set to sign with QPR.

The 23-year old has been linked with the R's in recent times with some reports suggesting that he will be unveiled next week.

But Ki, who is also a target for German pair Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen and Russian club Rubin Kazan, indicated that the main linked with QPR may actually be one of two fellow South Koreans Lee Chung-yong (Bolton) or Park Chu-young (Arsenal).

"I heard that QPR will have a press conference on [June] 9 with Korean player but I won't be there," Ki told reporters.

"I know that QPR showed interest in me but I don't know what's going on right now. Anyway, I'm not the player who will attend press conference, it's 100%.

"I have not decided my future, now is time to focus on [the] Olympics. It's uncomfortable to see many transfer news about me. I don't even want to know the stories unless I receive an offer.

"Who would go to QPR? I'm curious. Maybe Lee Chung-Yong or Park Chu-Young?"
