Celtic's Hooper targets future Barcelona switch

Celtic striker Gary Hooper is aiming to one day play for Spanish giants Barcelona.

The 24-year old hitman, who netted 29 goals last season, is being linked with the likes of Southampton and more recently Galatasaray but admits he is happy to remain at Parkhead for the remainder of his current deal.

But Hooper, who joined Celtic from Scunthorpe United in 2010, has his eyes set on bigger and better things in the future.

"There's no rush as I am happy at Celtic," said Hooper.

"We have the Champions League next season which I am looking forward to.

"We have the qualifiers to come and at the moment I am looking to my two years at Celtic. But one day Premier League. One day England.

"And then one day, Barcelona. That is the aim for me."
