Celtic's Forster: Man City's Hart is the best person I have come across in football

Fraser Forster has heaped praise on England teammate Joe Hart for the role he has played in the early days of his international career.

Celtic goalkeeper Forster made his international debut in Friday's 2-0 loss to Chile at Wembley in place of Manchester City's Hart who was recently dropped by his club.

Forster made it clear that Hart had acted without resentment with his Three Lions spot being taken and added that the 26-year old was one of the most impressive individuals he had come across in the game.

"I got the chance to speak to Joe before the Chile game and at half-time," said Forster in the Daily Record.

"He is a fantastic guy and I can't praise him highly enough. Joe is a great keeper and has been brilliant for City and England for years.

"Goalkeeper is such a specialist position and I know Joe will come back better and stronger than ever from all of this. Everybody knows about his ability as he makes save after save.

"I speak to Joe all the time. He is the best person I have come across in football."
