Celtic's Forster keen to take Man City's Hart to task

Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster would love to remain in the England squad and push for a first team spot.

The 24-year old former Newcastle United gloveman was called up to Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squads for World Cup qualifiers in October as well as a friendly against Sweden last month and he is now hoping to use the Champions League Round of 16 to help cement his spot in the national setup.

"I definitely want to stay in the England squad and to challenge Joe Hart," he said.

"I was fortunate enough to be in the last few squads.

"That is a dream I've had since I was a kid, so I want to just stay in there and keep pushing Joe.

"But the only way to stay in the squad is by performing well for your club and the Champions League is a great stage to do that on."
