Celtic's Forster deserves England chance - Lennon

Celtic boss Neil Lennon feels Fraser Forster has earned the right to represent the England national team.

The 25-year old was again called up for Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad, this time for upcoming friendlies with Chile and Germany, and his club boss is of the belief that he deserves the chance to make his international debut in place of Manchester City's Joe Hart.

"It would be brilliant if Fraser plays and I hope he does. He's earned it, regardless of Hart's situation," said Lennon.

"Fraser has excelled in the Champions League and more than proved his capabilities to play for his country."
