Russian Premier League outfit Lokomotiv Moscow are believed to be showing considerable interest in Celtic striker Georgios Samaras.
Reports suggest that the Russians have been tracking the Greece international this season and are now prepared to offer £3million for his services.
Samaras had a fairly quiet season for the Hoops, scoring just seven goals in all competitions, as opposed to 12 and 17 in the previous campaigns.
Samaras' speed and ability to play wide are two attributes that Lokomotiv boss Yuri Krasnozhan likes and if he goes ahead with his pursuit, Celtic could net a nice little sum from the man they paid about £1million for in January 2008.
