Celtic's El Kaddouri driven by pressure

Celtic loanee Badr El Kaddouri says he will thrive on the pressure that comes with helping the club back into title contention.

The Moroccan left-back, on loan from Dynamo Kiev, insists that high pressure situations are what most footballers dream of and is set to give his all as the Hoops strive to bridge a ten-point gap with Old Firm rivals Rangers.

"You ask any footballer why he plays the game and he'll tell you it's for pressure," he said.

"It is just that feeling before the game that the stadium is full of people who are desperate for you to win. It's that fear of letting them down.

"Without that, football is a different sport. I want pressure at Celtic. I want expectation. I'm used to it in Morocco.

"It's a real footballing nation and that's why I was so keen to go to Scotland. I knew they had just as much passion for the game."
