Celtic have rejected a bid from Cardiff City for Victor Wanyama.

The Daily Mail says Cardiff boss Malky Mackay was weighing in with a £10million bid for Celtic's prized midfielder.

With Wanyama and his agents rejecting a £12m switch to Southampton, Cardiff made a formal written offer to Celtic yesterday morning and are willing to meet the 21-year-old's wage demands.
