James Forrest is excited about the prospects of playing Champions League football again this season.
The promising winger helped the Hoops qualify for the group stage proper for a second year running, culminating in a frenzied 3-0 win over Shakhter Karagandy which saw them through 3-2 on aggregate.
The Scottish champions have been drawn alongside Barcelona, AC Milan and Ajax in Group H and Forrest admits he can't wait for European nights to return to Celtic Park.
"You're playing against the best players in the world and we are just delighted to be back in there again," he told the Celtic View.
"Last season we did well in the Champions League and this year it's been harder to get there, but we are in there now and we will see what happens."
Of the win over Shakhter, in which Forrest netted the winner in injury time, the 22-year old added: "It's still unbelievable.
"I don´t really know what to say. We were 2-0 down and no one thought we could do it but the players always thought we would and it was just a great night.
"Everybody wants to play in the Champions League and I was just buzzing for everybody at the club as we have worked so hard since pre-season so just to get in there is a really good feeling."
