Celtic are set to play Sporting Lisbon of Portugal in a friendly match at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts on 21st July. They last played at the ground in 1931 when they were defeated by the New York Yankees of the American Soccer League.

The inaugural 'Fenway Football Challenge' will be the first football match played at the venue since 9th July 1968, when Pele lined up for Santos against the Boston Beacons.
