Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed the club has made an offer to number 2 goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska.
The 29-year old Pole is currently back-up to Newcastle United loanee Fraser Forster and is believed to be looking for regular first team football elsewhere but Lennon has revealed an offer has been made to keep him at Parkhead.
"We've made him an offer and he is going to let us know but we are always looking to strengthen our squad," said Lennon.
If Zaluska, who is out of contract in the summer, happens to turn down the proposal then Celtic will move for Heart of Midlothian wantaway Marian Kello. The 29-year old Slovakian is keen to depart the embattled Edinburgh club and with Zaluska a chance to depart, a squad spot will be there for the former FBK Kaunas man.
