Celtic now focused on the league - McDonald

Scott McDonald admits that the Scottish Premier League title is the one the club wants and is fully focused on achieving that goal. After snaring the Scottish Cup last week, the Hoops are now full steam ahead to grab a fourth successive league title.

"Yesterday was surreal as you know it was great to get one over your nearest rivals but in the same sense in the back of your mind there are so many more important games to come before the season is finished," said the Aussie striker.

"The big one is the league, you play for that all year round and it would certainly hurt if we didn't go on to win this.

"We've got a massive game against Dundee United up at Tannadice on Sunday and we really don't want to fall into the trap of what to happened to us the other week when we played Kilmarnock.

"We played everso well and then you come into a game at the weekend - St Mirren played well but it was disappointing for us that we went and got beat.

"So, let's try and maintain what we have done this weekend and with ten games to go we see it as we must win all ten."
