Celtic boss Tony Mowbray will not be making a move for Hamilton midfielder James McCarthy. Accies have reportedly agreed a fee with Wolves and Wigan of around £2million but the Parkhead club have also been linked with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international.

However, asked if the 18-year-old was on his radar, Mowbray replied: "No, I would suggest not with the numbers that have been bandied around at the moment."
