Celtic No2 Mjallby reveals new talks with Tottenham striker Keane
Celtic boss Neil Lennon has held a new round of talks with Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
Spurs striker Keane, 30 tomorrow, blasted 16 goals in 19 games for Hoops during a short-term switch in the second half of last season.
The Republic of Ireland captain looks set to leave White Hart Lane this summer with Wolves, Sunderland and Aston Villa chasing the £8million man.
But Lennon's No2 Johan Mjallby has confirmed the new Celts gaffer is still trying to convince Keane to return to Paradise.
He said: "I would be very delighted if a deal for Robbie came through.
"I don't know Tottenham's thinking when it comes to Robbie. I have not been monitoring his situation.
"He did really well for us for six months last season. He is out of our reach when it comes to buying him but a loan would be perfect for us. I don't know if Robbie would like to do it or not.
"Has Neil been speaking to Robbie? Definitely.
"Neil only signed as manager three or four weeks ago.
"As soon as he knew he was going to sign, I am sure he was in contact with Robbie."

Lets just give him to them, i willdrive the twat their myself!
At 30 he is near the end of his career and Spurs must be businessmen and cash-in whilst he still has a value.
We had Robbie 1 & 11 but Robbie 111!. Sorry, but how many clubs can he say he has always supported as a boy?.
He looked good in Scotland and let's face it after all his moves - he's a multi-millionaire who doesn't need to play just for the money.
Spurs are not a charity I think it is highly unlikely that they will loan keane to celtic again. If a purchase is beyond them then they might as well start looking at other targets. It's a bit of a joke that they are thinking they might get him on loan again. The once mighty celtic seem a little pikey these days.
