Boruc told the Celtic View: "There was quite a lot of emotion in the air but I shouldn't have exploded like that. I got really angry because we lost a goal in a situation we'd been warned to be careful about beforehand.

"The Russians were aiming corners to the far post and we weren't supposed to let them do it. We failed once, then twice and a third time as well.

"When it happened again it ended up very bad for us and the ball was in the back of the net. But I'm good friends with Lee and we settled our differences after the match.

"The emotions have gone and everything's back to normal. But I have to confess I got carried away."
