Celtic boss Neil Lennon is confident keeping striker Gary Hooper.
Southampton and Reading were interested in signing Hooper in the summer but he pledged his future with Celtic after scoring 29 times last term and is now negotiating a new long-term contract.
Lennon said: "We are in talks at the moment. Negotiations are underway with all the parties.
"English and Scottish football are two different worlds. In England there is hardly a paragraph written about the Old Firm. In Scotland, Celtic and Rangers are on the front and back pages all the time.
