Celtic are hoping they can trump Old Firm rivals Rangers in their pursuit of Dundee United striker David Goodwillie.
Scottish champions 'Gers have been on the trail of the 22-year old for some time now but SunSport suggests that Hoops boss Neil Lennon has stepped into the queue which also consists of English clubs Wigan Athletic and Blackpool.
United boss Peter Houston has so far remained defiant regarding Goodwillie's situation and says the club will not accept anything less than £2million - a valuation which could rule both Celtic and Rangers out of the race.
Nonetheless, Lennon's interest is there and it will be interesting to see what occurs with the talented Scotland talisman.
