Celtic chief Tony Mowbray is reportedly lining up Tours striker Olivier Giroud as the solution to his goalscoring problems. The Parkhead club are said to be willing to shell out £2million to land the 23-year old forward.
Mowbray has sent scouts to watch Giroud four times in recent weeks according to reports in the News of the World. The 6ft 3in hitman is the hottest property in Ligue 2 after scoring 11 goals in 14 league matches so far this season.
However, the arrival of the Frenchman could see Georgios Samaras or Chris Killen making way on their way out of the Hoops to make way for the new boy.
