Newcastle United goalkeeper Fraser Forster has emerged as a strong target for Leeds United according to reports.

The 23-year old had an impressive loan spell with Celtic last season and the Glasgow giants were showing interest in having him back for at least another loan for next term.

But after losing Kasper Schmeichel to Leicester City, Leeds boss Simon Grayson is toying with the idea of throwing in a £1.5million bid for Forster.
