Celtic manager Neil Lennon has indicated that the club will offer Anthony Stokes a new contract.
The 24-year old Irish striker is out of contract this summer but Lennon suggested the Glasgow club would put forward a new deal very soon.
"In my mind I have already made it. But I haven't told Anthony that yet," said Lennon after Stokes scored the 104th minute winner in the 4-3 Scottish Cup semi-final triumph over Dundee United.
"What will help Stokesy is to get consistency in his performances.
"Some of the games he has come back from injury and been fantastic. Other games he's been below average.
"But he has got a great work ethic about him at times. When he is in the mood he has goals in him and he was there today with the most important goal of the season for us up till now.
"That will have done his chances no harm at all."
