Celtic legend Charlie Nicholas sees Gary Hooper snubbing Norwich City.

Former Arsenal striker Nicholas predicts Hooper's destined for Stoke City or to join ex-Celtic ace Paul Lambert's Aston Villa rather than the Canaries.

He told the Scottish Sun: "Not to be disrespectful but I feel there might be one or two better options for Hooper.

"Every club in England requires a natural goalscorer and Gary's that.

"But he'd need to do well at a club further down the table before the top teams are interested.

"Maybe the likes of Stoke City or Aston Villa, would come in for him. It depends how much regard they hold the SPL in."
