Celtic legend Pat Bonner says the club can afford to sell Artur Boruc this summer. That's because Bonner - with 607 games for Celts and 243 shutouts - rates Lukasz Zaluska as the ideal replacement.
He told the Scottish Sun: "I have watched Artur Boruc in some recent games and he looks to be getting back to his best form.
"If we take the Old Firm game, I thought he did very well indeed. He made a lot of saves that day.
"Lukasz Zaluska impressed me at Kilmarnock and he is also an excellent keeper.
"I think that in itself will have helped Boruc's form this season.
"Zaluska's mobility and decision-making at Rugby Park were very good indeed.
"That will help Artur to keep his edge.
"Possibly that was a problem in the past. That makes it hard if there is not someone pushing you for the shirt.
"In that situation, a keeper's work-rate can suffer. Zaluska is a good keeper and he will keep Boruc on his toes."
