Celtic keeper Forster under consideration at Man Utd

Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster is under consideration at Manchester United.

The People says Forster is being monitored with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson concerned that neither David De Gea nor Anders Lindegaard have been able to cement their place in the United side for more than a few games at a time.

Forster's performances against Barcelona this season drew glowing praise from Nou Camp stars.

The keeper, who stands at a giant 6ft 7in, rose through the ranks at Newcastle but was allowed to join Celtic for £2.5million last summer after spending the two previous seasons on loan at the Glasgow club.

Forster's displays for the Scottish giants since then have not gone unnoticed by Ferguson and the fact he is gaining Champions League experience is also significant for the Old Trafford boss.
