Celtic keeper Forster geared up for 'important' Norwich friendly

Celtic take on Premier League club Norwich City in a pre-season friendly today and goalkeeper Fraser Forster feels that there could be a bit of pressure on he and his teammates.

Neil Lennon's men have struggled so far in their off-season matches, failing to score in three of four outings during their stint in Germany and Holland, before losing 4-0 to Dutch giants Ajax on Sunday.

Ahead of the Parkhead meeting with the Canaries, Forster is aware that Chris Hughton's men will be a very difficult opponent, especially after their good showing in England's top flight last season.

"I think there will be a bit of pressure on us playing at home, so we will have to go out and play well," he told the club's official website.

"It will be a good game for us to play in and it will be a good test.

"It will be important we turn up and play because it will be a tough game.

"I'm sure Chris Hughton will have got them all going and it's important for them to start the season well.

"We want to hit the ground running at Celtic Park, but Norwich had a fantastic season last year and they will want to recreate that."
