Celtic are seeking to beat Hull City for Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng.

Hull have agreed a £1 million fee with Middlesbrough for Boateng, who is surplus to requirements at the Riverside, and have held talks with the 32-year-old midfielder.

But now Celtic are making a late bid for the Dutchman who is also being eyed up by Fulham, says the Mirror.
